**Parental Leave Extended to Maximum Two Years… New Work-from-Home Program for Childcare Introduced**
(Seoul=Yonhap News) Reporter Kim Hyun-su – On the 27th, Krafton announced through its internal communication program, ‘Krafton Live Talk’, a new support system for childbirth and childcare.
The system is a comprehensive support framework that considers the life cycle of its employees, covering support measures from childbirth to childcare.
To encourage childbirth, employees who have given birth after January 1st of this year will receive a childbirth incentive of 60 million KRW.
Krafton stated that up to 100 million KRW per child will be provided through childcare support funds of 5 million KRW annually until the child reaches 8 years old, totaling 40 million KRW.
For children born before 2025 who are under 8 years old, the childcare support fund will be provided differentially according to age.
A leave policy has been introduced for male employees, allowing four half-days off to accompany their spouses for prenatal check-ups.
Additionally, Krafton plans to extend the parental leave period to a maximum of two years and actively hire replacement personnel.
For employees with children aged under 8 or in the second grade of elementary school, a new ‘Childcare Work-from-Home’ program has been introduced, allowing them to choose to work from home for up to one month when needed for childcare.
