Hanssak announced on the 20th that it has implemented a major overhaul of its personnel system to innovate organizational culture and strengthen expertise-centered management. This overhaul focuses on agile responsiveness to the rapidly changing business environment and establishing a flexible and horizontal organizational culture.
The newly introduced personnel system includes simplification of job ranks, performance-based evaluations, a Fast-Track promotion system, and a talent development-oriented personnel system. Through this, the company plans to create an environment where employees can grow quickly based on expertise and performance, promoting sustainable organizational development.
Hanssak has abolished the existing five-tier job hierarchy of ‘Staff-Agent-Chief-Deputy-Chief Manager’ and unified the title to ‘Pro’ below manager level. The managerial level has been restructured to a ‘position-focused system’, including roles like executive, headquarters manager, and team leader, clearly appointing roles and responsibilities according to jobs and strengthening fast decision-making and fair evaluation systems.
A Hanssak representative stated, “Innovation within the organization is not a choice but a necessity in the face of market changes,” and added, “We will evolve into a flexible organization that values expertise and performance over the rank-centered vertical culture.”
Through this overhaul, Hanssak aims to enhance project-based horizontal operations, fostering inter-departmental collaboration and building an organizational culture that respects creativity and autonomy. The company plans to harness various ideas and individuality, especially from the MZ Generation, as a driving force for organizational growth.
Additionally, in line with the aging society, Hanssak has introduced a “wage peak system” to provide opportunities for skilled employees to contribute even after retirement. This initiative is evaluated as a personnel policy that maximally utilizes the capabilities of experienced talent while meeting the demands of the times.
Alongside this personnel system reform, Hanssak plans to accelerate enhancing business competitiveness. In the security sector, the company aims to fortify its position as a strong player in the security solutions market by advancing the features of major products like network integration, national defense security control system CDS, and integrated system security platform, while also focusing on research and development of new solutions and market expansion.
This year, Hanssak intends to launch various new products incorporating new technologies, such as unidirectional network integration, SSL visibility, harmful content blocking solutions, and quantum-resistant encryption solutions, aiming to expand its market share. Specifically, the company is equipping its products in line with zero-trust security requirements to respond swiftly to market changes resulting from network separation improvements.
In the AI business, Hanssak aims to strengthen its competitiveness with ‘Blue Learning’, an AI answer generation solution launched last year, and accelerate its leap to become an ‘ACE’ company (AI, Cloud, Expand) based on AI and cloud. The company plans to expand its product lineup integrating AI beyond the security domain to boost revenue growth and increase market influence.
CEO Judo Lee of Hanssak stated, “This personnel reform is a crucial turning point for sustainable growth,” and added, “With flexible organizational operations based on expertise, we aim to lead rapid changes in AI and security technology innovation and grow into a competitive company in the global market.”
