KT Unveils ‘Agentic Fabric’, an AI Operating System for Enterprises [MWC26]

KT is set to unveil its enterprise AI operating system (OS), ‘Agentic Fabric,’ at ‘MWC 26’ in Barcelona, Spain, on the 2nd (local time). This AI aims to elevate generative AI from simple tools for document summarization or searches to an “agent” that directly performs core business tasks, providing a practical solution for digital transformation (AX).

In the past, generative AI faced challenges entering core business areas due to security issues, complex internal system integration, and unpredictable decision-making. To address this, KT has designed a corporate OS architecture with a five-layer structure offering autonomy and execution capability. This system notably separates management and execution areas, enhancing security while flexibly adapting to diverse IT environments, such as SaaS or on-premises setups.

A key technology of the platform, ‘agent orchestration,’ adopts a multi-agent operating method where specialized agents collaborate. An orchestrator manages the entire process, and specialized agents handle tasks such as diagnosis and analysis, leading to the final deliverable. KT has already applied this structure to essential internal tasks like communication, finance, and HR, verifying its practical performance and execution capability.

The ‘K RAI Evaluation’ system has also been introduced to enhance operational reliability. It automates the entire process where a dedicated agent independently sets evaluation plans, conducts red team tests, and generates reports. This system precisely inspects 11 risk areas and suggests risk mitigation solutions, facilitating a safe environment for companies to adopt AI.

Oh Seung-pil, head of KT’s Technology Innovation Division (Vice President), stated, “Agentic Fabric is designed to allow AI to be controlled and executed under a single OS in any work environment,” and added, “We will lead the market as a partner that genuinely completes enterprise AX.”
