(Daejeon=News1) Reporter Kim Tae-jin – The Daejeon Education Office announced on the 7th that it will do its utmost to ensure that all examinees can fully demonstrate their abilities during the 2025 College Scholastic Ability Test, scheduled for the 14th.
The Daejeon Education Office has completed three rounds of pre-inspection for the 570 exam rooms across 35 test site schools to check their preparation status.
Additionally, they have collaborated with relevant agencies such as Daejeon City Hall, Daejeon Police Agency, Daejeon Regional Meteorological Administration, Daejeon Fire Department, Korea Electric Power Corporation, and Korea Gas Corporation to establish plans for transportation, noise prevention, test site security, and earthquake preparedness on the exam day.
Examinees need to collect their exam admission tickets on November 13th at 10 AM from the location where they submitted their applications (passers of the qualification exam and examinees from other regions should go to the city education office) and attend the orientation session at 2 PM at their designated test locations on the same day.
During the orientation, examinees will receive instructions on important guidelines, prohibited items, and allowed items, and they will be able to confirm the location of their exam rooms.
Regardless of their choice for the first period exam, examinees must enter the exam room by 8:10 AM on the exam day. They must take the Korean History section; not doing so will invalidate their entire test scores, resulting in not receiving a score report.
Examinees must familiarize themselves with the guidelines provided during the admission ticket collection and orientation (also posted on the Daejeon Education Office website and each school’s website). These guidelines include information on prohibited items and instructions to prevent misconduct due to test method errors.
Choi Jae-mo, Director of the Daejeon Education Office, urged, “We are doing our best to prepare the test venues and manage the exam system so that all examinees can achieve the best results in a safe and comfortable environment. We ask not only the examinees and their families and educators but also citizens to work together for a stable execution of the exams.”
