Three men were caught by the police for allegedly facilitating prostitution and gaining illicit profits through it. On the 30th, the Jeollanam-do Police Department announced that they had arrested three men in their 30s, including a person identified as A, on charges of violating the “Act on the Punishment of Acts of Arranging Sexual Traffic.”
The suspects, who are brothers, are accused of employing women of Thai nationality in four officetels near Suncheon, and brokering prostitution services for amounts ranging from 100,000 to 250,000 KRW.
They showed a high level of organization by dividing roles, involving online promotions to attract male clients and collecting the profits in cash. The police have seized over 9 million KRW in cash, ledgers, and phones used for reservations from the suspects and plan to continue investigating additional potential offenses.
