“Up to 10 Devices Allowed”… SKB Launches ‘Share Internet’ Exclusively for Small Businesses

**Free Provision of ‘Reliable Share Internet’… Up to 3.5 Million KRW Compensation Annually**

On the 15th, SK Broadband announced the launch of ‘Share Internet,’ a dedicated product for small business owners that allows up to 10 devices, such as desktops and laptops, to be used simultaneously through one high-speed internet line.

The company identified the needs of small business owners, such as small hospitals, academies, and offices, who often use multiple PCs concurrently, and introduced the product to extend the number of simultaneous device connections from the existing maximum of two to ten.

Additionally, users of Share Internet will be offered the ‘Reliable Share Internet’ promotion at no extra cost, which includes compensation for financial fraud and device repair.

This promotion provides compensation up to 3 million KRW annually for monetary damages caused by cyberattacks like phishing, which result in unauthorized account withdrawals or card misuse. Furthermore, repair costs for store equipment failures, such as POS systems, card payment terminals, PCs, and TVs, are supported up to 500,000 KRW once within the contract’s terms.

The monthly rate for Share Internet is 36,300 KRW based on Share Giga Lite, with discounts available when bundled with IPTV (30,800 KRW monthly) or with the current family package (25,300 KRW monthly), inclusive of VAT for a 3-year contract.

Both Share Internet and Reliable Share Internet come with basic gigabit Wi-Fi, and Wi-Fi extenders called Wings can be used for an additional 1,650 KRW per month.

Meanwhile, SK Broadband has expanded its lineup of specialized products for small business owners by officially launching the ‘Cheer Up CEO 1-Year Contract Discount’ event, which started in March. This initiative allows small business owners, who may find long-term contracts burdensome, to sign up for high-speed internet with just a 1-year contract at rates up to 40% lower than existing ones, and also exempts them from modem rental fees, which are 2,200 KRW per month.

Moreover, if small business owners need to cancel the internet service due to unavoidable circumstances such as business closure, they can submit a proof of business closure document to have their early termination fees waived.

The ‘Cheer Up CEO 1-Year Contract Discount’ is applicable to Share Internet and Reliable Share Internet products as well, with an additional fee of only 2,200 KRW per month.

The Share Internet and Cheer Up CEO 1-Year Contract Discount are available to individual entrepreneurs, corporate businesses, and non-profit organizations that meet the criteria of small businesses according to the Small Business Basic Law.

Song Jeong-beom, head of SK Broadband’s SOHO & SE division, stated, “We are contemplating various ways to develop products that provide tangible benefits to small business owners during challenging times. Following the recent launch of Reliable Internet, we will continue to strive to develop products that can offer some support to small business owners, such as the newly launched Share Internet and Cheer Up CEO 1-Year Contract Discount.”
