SK Telecom will operate an experiential space where customers can directly interact with and enjoy the new Galaxy S26 series from Samsung Electronics. Starting from the 27th, coinciding with the pre-order date for the Galaxy S26 series, SK Telecom will run a pop-up store called ‘SKT S26 Market’ at their flagship store ‘T Factory Seongsu’ until the 29th of the following month.
The T Factory Seongsu, developed to engage more with consumers in their twenties, will focus on providing product experiences rather than mere device sales. Customers will have the chance to experience the devices firsthand and proceed with reservation purchases if interested.
The SKT S26 Market pop-up store is designed based on the current ‘in season’ core trend popular among the MZ generation, featuring zones like Fresh Experience Zone, Fresh Produce, Fun-Fish Market, and Fruit Truck where SKT’s seasonal promotion benefits can be experienced. Inside the pop-up store, visitors are greeted with shopping carts and an interior reminiscent of an actual market, enabling them to experience promotions as if they are shopping for seasonal fruits.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to see all models and colors of the Galaxy S26 series in the Fresh Experience Zone. They can test popular features such as the privacy display, photo assist, and creative studio, with the chance to receive a coffee coupon after taking a commemorative photo of their experience.
Moreover, by solving a crossword puzzle while enjoying the space, participants can receive goods. Hints for the puzzle can be found by exploring the space, scanning hidden QR codes, or using UV light to uncover clues on walls. The pop-up store also offers exclusive pre-order benefits, including a 100,000 KRW discount coupon and limited-edition seasonal market shopping bags for the first 50 visitors who proceed with pre-orders at the T Direct Shop.
During the pop-up store’s operation, a promotional event using the number ’26’ provides gifts to every 26th and 62nd visitor daily, with SK Telecom planning to extend this to the 100th and 200th visitor in the future.
Yoon Jae-woong, head of SK Telecom’s Product & Brand Division, commented, “This pop-up store extends beyond simple device displays, allowing visitors to vividly experience SKT’s exclusive seasonal benefits while naturally engaging with the pre-order benefits and key features of the S26 series by engaging all senses.”
