**Hello Rental and Education Office Terminal Business Growth**
**Depreciation Reduction Improves Profitability**

[Edaily’s Kim Hyun-ah]: LG HelloVision (037560), headed by CEO Lee Min-hyung, announced on the 8th that for the second quarter of 2025, it recorded consolidated operating revenue (sales) of 354.1 billion KRW, operating profit of 10.5 billion KRW, and net profit of 7.2 billion KRW.

Compared to the same period last year, sales increased by 24.9%, and operating profit by 41.7%.

The improvements in performance were mainly driven by the growth of Hello Rental and the educational office’s smart terminal distribution business. In the rental sector, sales expanded due to strong seasonal home appliance sales, such as air conditioners, dehumidifiers, and air purifiers, along with growth in direct online sales.

Additionally, the educational business gained momentum from the reflected sales of smart terminals procured by Seoul’s educational office last year. Operating profit benefited from improved management efficiency and decreased depreciation costs.

In terms of business divisions, broadcasting revenues dropped by 4.3% to 123.2 billion KRW from last year, whereas telecommunications (34.3 billion KRW) and budget mobile (MVNO; 40.8 billion KRW) grew by 1.0% and 3.9% respectively.

Regional-based business sales, including media and B2B, were 49.3 billion KRW while rental reached 45.1 billion KRW. Other businesses experienced significant growth due to education terminal orders.

In the broadcasting and telecommunication sector, the company enhanced its internet-focused strategy by introducing ▲no-contract high-speed internet ▲specialized products for direct online sales ▲self-registration and instant installation services. In the MVNO sector, they launched affordable SIM plans and special promotions to coincide with new terminal releases.

The media division is focusing on producing original content following the acquisition of the ‘The Life’ channel. They are expanding self-produced programs like Tagoon Singing Contest 3, Dangol House, and Kim Seok-hoon’s Oh! Look Here, and are working on enhancing paid broadcasting competitiveness through synergy in local channel production and PP (Program Provider) business. Expanding online content through YouTube is also underway.

Lee Min-hyung, CFO and CRO of LG HelloVision, stated, “The performance in the first half was largely due to the growth of new businesses,” adding, “In the second half, we will ensure stable profitability through product competitiveness enhancement and management efficiency.”
