EveeSys, introduction of fast chargers at the North American Expo

MW Unit Power Supply… Aims to Achieve 20% Local Market Share by 2030, ‘IVSIS, a subsidiary of Lotte Data Communications (formerly Lotte Information & Communications), announced on the 20th that following the establishment of a local corporation, they have taken a full-scale step towards conquering the North American market by participating in the North American Clean Transport Expo ‘ACT Expo 2024’.

The ACT Expo, held in Las Vegas, USA from the 20th to the 23rd of this month (local time), will feature approximately 400 companies including car brands and electric vehicle charger manufacturers, showcasing around 200 electric and environmentally friendly commercial vehicles.

IVSIS’s exhibition products include newly developed megawatt chargers, rapid and ultra-rapid chargers. The megawatt charger being introduced this time supplies power in units of megawatts (MW), surpassing the kilowatt (kW) unit of conventional chargers. This allows even large vehicles such as trucks and commercial vehicles with long charging times to be quickly charged.

The megawatt charger from IVSIS features a 42-inch advertising display that separates the charging control unit, providing various information even during charging. By applying a mobile cable management system, cable management has been made more convenient.

The company recently established a local subsidiary, IVSIS America, in California. California has the highest electric vehicle adoption rate in the United States, accounting for 40% of the entire U.S. electric vehicle market.

IVSIS America aims to focus on the high-growth segment of rapid chargers with a capacity of 150kW or higher, continuously increasing its market share in the North American market through aggressive marketing, with a goal of achieving a 20% market share by 2030. They plan to complete preparations for operating all production lines in the first half of the year and expand their business to all of North America from the second half of the year onwards.
