AI for Streamlining Veterans Affairs Administration… KT Collaborates with the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs on AX

KT announced on the 25th that it will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs to innovate veterans’ administration using AI-based technology and promote a culture of veterans’ donations. Through this agreement, they plan to enhance the efficiency of administrative tasks by integrating AI technology and jointly drive service innovation that can be tangibly experienced.

To support the AI administrative innovation of the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, KT will apply the latest AI technology and verified optimal solutions to the administration tasks. KT plans to offer AI competency-enhancing training to the ministry staff and expand the application of AI to support the digital transformation of administrative tasks.

The Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs will select personnel for AI education from major departments and create dedicated research spaces to set up an environment for AI administrative innovation. After the training, they will validate effectiveness through AI-based practice cases and business improvement competitions and consider expanding the application to all departments.

The company expressed expectations that the introduction of AI technology into veterans’ administration through this collaboration will reduce the time spent on report writing and meeting minutes, improve the efficiency of information search and data analysis, and ultimately maximize work productivity. They also aim to simplify work procedures by establishing a paperless reporting system and create a smart work environment.

Additionally, KT and the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs will jointly promote the “Veterans Dream for All” program, a national veterans donation program aimed at spreading the culture of donations. KT will utilize media platforms to enhance public understanding of veterans’ support projects and lower the barriers to donation participation, encouraging interest across various age groups.

This collaboration between the two organizations is expected to be a leading example of public-private cooperation in deploying AI technology for administrative tasks, in line with the government’s policy of easing network separation regulations.

Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs Kang Jeong-ae stated, “The introduction of AI technology through collaboration with KT will lead to the digital transformation of veterans’ administration and innovation in work processes.”

KT CEO Kim Young-seop said, “KT is leading digital innovation in the public sector using AI technology and plans to continue supporting it. We hope this agreement leads to tangible results and serves as a model case of AI-based administrative innovation contributing to national development.”
