The Democratic Party’s central election committee is holding an inaugural ceremony from 9 a.m. today.

As you can see, supporters in blue clothing and election committee members are densely gathered in front of the stage.

A dance team and flag bearers performed to music, encouraging support for candidate Lee and enhancing voter turnout.

The Democratic Party plans to continue the public’s fervent cries from Gwanghwamun, which was filled during the call for the dismissal of former President Yoon after the declaration of martial law last year, through campaigning to complete a “Revolution of Light.”

Yoon Yeo-joon, the chief executive campaign officer, stated that this election is a critically important event for confirming that the people are the true owners of Korea and called for spreading the wings of national unity.

Park Chan-dae, another chief executive campaign officer, emphasized that this election is a confrontation between constitutional protectors and a group that destroys the constitution, stating that we must end the rebellion and restore Korea to normalcy.

Candidate Lee is scheduled to make a 20-minute speech on stage at around 10 a.m.

As the announcement for Lee’s appearance came over, supporters cheered and practiced slogans.

After the rally at Gwanghwamun Square, Lee will visit Gyeonggi and Daejeon consecutively.

First, around noon, he will visit Pangyo, an area dense with cutting-edge industries, to hold a meeting with around ten IT developers.

At 3 p.m., he will deliver a policy message about K-semiconductors in Hwaseong, Dongtan, Gyeonggi, and by 6:30 p.m., about K-science and technology.

Lee plans to package these areas as the “K-Initiative Belt” and announce his strategy to transform from a pursuit economy to a leading economy.

With 22 days left until the election, candidate Lee plans to conduct full-fledged campaigns across regions under the main concept of “Listening and Integration.”

The Democratic Party’s campaign committee explained they are contemplating various new campaigning methods, citing the increasing threat of terrorism.
