The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced the winners of the ‘2025 Cultural Digital Innovation and Data Utilization Contest’, selecting 17 works. The contest aims to discover innovative services merging digital technology with the culture, sports, and tourism sectors. Among the outstanding entries, the grand prize in the exemplary case division went to the ‘K in My Hands’ platform and the ‘Joseon Series’ virtual instrument for Korean traditional music.
The ‘K in My Hands’ platform offers a seamless experience providing language, travel, and visa information to K-culture fans, as well as facilitating content learning and real-world travel. The ‘Joseon Series’ service optimizes 6,000 digital sound sources of traditional Korean instruments using AI, allowing creators to generate traditional music tracks.
Other top prizes included the ‘AI Music Ingredient Combination Search Service’ and the ‘Development Delay Screening and Care Solution’ in the idea division. In the data analysis category, the ‘K-Novel Translation Market Decision Support Platform’ was honored.
A newly established special award recognized ‘Graphitoon’, a character video creation tool for children’s art therapy, and ‘Silver Fit’, which uses a smart mirror to guide seniors in exercise posture. The award ceremony will be held on November 18 at the 2025 Cultural Digital Innovation Forum at the Seoul Dragon City Hotel, where the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism will present the awards along with prize money.
