Stray Kids ranks 73rd on Billboard’s year-end chart, achieving the highest position for a K-pop group.

JYP Entertainment announced on the 15th that their affiliated group Stray Kids achieved the highest ranking for a domestic group on the U.S. Billboard year-end chart.

According to JYP Entertainment on the 15th, Stray Kids ranked 73rd, the highest among K-pop groups, on the ‘Top Artists Chart’ of the year-end list announced by Billboard on the 13th (local time).

On the main album chart, the ‘Billboard 200’ year-end list, their albums ‘樂-STAR’ (Rockstar) and ‘ATE’ placed 123rd and 139th, respectively. In the Top Album Sales category, ‘樂-STAR’ ranked 4th and ‘ATE’ ranked 9th, marking the highest positions for a domestic artist. Additionally, they topped the World Albums category as 1st and 2nd, World Album Artist 1st, Top Album Sales Artist 2nd, Top Artists Duo/Group 4th, and Billboard 200 Artist Duo/Group 4th, among others.

Stray Kids captured global attention by performing at the ‘2024 Billboard Music Awards’ (‘2024 BBMAs’) held on the 12th in the U.S. After winning the Top K-pop Album award at last year’s ceremony, they received the Top Global K-pop Artist award this year.

Meanwhile, Stray Kids released a new album in a different format called SKZHOP HIPTAPE ‘合 (HOP)’ and the title track ‘Walkin On Water’ at 2 PM KST on the 13th. As of the afternoon of the 13th, the new song’s music video ranked 1st on YouTube Music Video Trending Worldwide.
