Renault Korea and Kookmin University sign MOU to “strengthen practical industry-academia cooperation”

Renault Korea, in an effort to strengthen practical industry-academia collaboration, has announced on the 14th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Kookmin University.

The previous day, Renault Korea held a signing ceremony at the main building of Kookmin University in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by key figures such as Renault Korea’s President Stephane Deblaise, major executives, Kookmin University President Seung-ryul Jung, professors from the Automotive Convergence College, and university-industry cooperation groups.

This agreement is in line with Renault Korea’s strategic direction to closely collaborate with academia and industry in a rapidly changing mobility industry environment. The goal is to identify and nurture talent with practical capabilities at an early stage. Key components of the agreement include internship programs linked to employment, tours of the Renault Technology Korea research center (RTK), and the joint operation of practical programs such as special lectures by industry experts.

Stephane Deblaise, President of Renault Korea, stated, “Renault Korea is continuously expanding its connections with future talents. We aim to contribute to developing promising talents in a rapidly changing industrial environment and will provide full support in every aspect so that both Kookmin University and Renault Korea can grow together.”
