KGM Launches Actyon and KGM Brand in Italian Market

(SEOUL=Yonhap News) Reporter Kim Bo-kyung = KG Mobility (KGM) has launched its brand in the Italian market, expanding its export efforts.

KGM announced on the 14th that it held a brand launch event from the 6th to the 8th in La Bagnaia Golf Resort in Florence, Siena, Italy, launching the Actyon.

Based on the brand strategy announced last year, “Practical Creativity,” KGM is actively targeting the global market.

At this event, KGM unveiled its brand and mid-to-long-term export strategy to Autotorino, a dealer group responsible for KGM’s sales in the Italian market starting this year, and its dealers.

Further, they introduced vehicles such as the Actyon, Musso EV, and Torres Hybrid and held test drive events for journalists and dealers.

The Italian automotive market is seeing increased consumer interest in eco-friendly vehicles such as electric and hybrid cars in line with the government’s new car subsidy policy.

KGM plans to continue the launch of new cars starting with the Actyon, including the Musso EV and Torres Hybrid, and increase sales volume to around 5,000 units.

A KGM representative stated, “We intend to increase sales volume by launching various new models such as the Musso EV and Torres Hybrid, implementing differentiated marketing strategies, and strengthening cooperation with local dealers.”
