KG Mobility (KGM) announced on the 21st that in anticipation of the Seollal holiday, which is a week away, they will be implementing the ‘2025 Seollal Special Vehicle Inspection Service’ for their vehicle owners who plan to drive long distances.

This inspection service will be available from January 22 to 24 at 58 service centers across the country, including the Gunpo Regional Service Center, for all KGM vehicle models, excluding large commercial vehicles.

The main inspection items include 27 categories necessary for safe long-distance driving, such as ▲ battery ▲ heater operation and filter status ▲ engine oil and various oil leaks ▲ antifreeze ▲ lighting system ▲ air conditioning system ▲ brake and pad wear condition ▲ tire wear and air pressure ▲ coolant condition. KGM plans to provide windshield wiper fluid replenishment as an additional service to customers who complete the inspection.

In addition to the basic inspection service, there will be a ‘Special Safety Inspection Service for Electric Vehicles’ offered to electric vehicle owners to support correct management and safe driving.

During the service period, owners of Torres EVX and Korando EV (including Emotions) can receive diagnostics on the battery status using diagnostic equipment, checks for coolant leaks for the motor, and the connection condition of major connectors, as well as inspections for any impacts or damage to the battery pack inside and outside the vehicle.

Furthermore, KGM plans to operate an emergency dispatch service at all times to provide immediate assistance in case of vehicle breakdowns or accidents during the holidays.

KGM stated, “With the extended Seollal holidays, special attention to safe driving is required. Even drivers who have been regularly maintaining their vehicles should thoroughly inspect them once more before heading home. Since this is directly related to safety during long-distance driving, we hope that vehicle inspections and understanding of safe driving tips will lead to a happy visit to your hometown.”
