Hyundai Wins 26 Awards at ‘World’s Top 3 Design Awards’

The Hyundai Motor Group announced on the 18th that it has swept a total of 26 awards at the ‘2025 iF Design Awards’, organized by the International Forum Design in Germany. Recognized as one of the world’s top three design awards, the iF Design Award has been evaluating projects based on design distinctiveness and impact since 1954, selecting the best designs in various categories.

This year, Hyundai Motor Group received 26 awards across categories such as Product, Professional Concepts, Communication, Interior Architecture, User Interface (UI), User Experience (UX), and Service Design. In the Product category, the IONIQ 9, The All-New Palisade, Initium Concept, Kia EV3, and Genesis X Gran Berlina Concept won top awards.

The IONIQ 9, recognized for its design inspired by boats to minimize water resistance while providing spacious and cozy interiors, is an electrified large SUV. The All-New Palisade’s bold proportions and sturdy design elements provide a monumental appearance. The hydrogen-electric concept car Initiium emphasizes the natural elasticity of steel, showcasing Hyundai’s new design language, ‘Art of Steel.’

The award-winning EV3 exhibits Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy, featuring a bold exterior and an interior reminiscent of a living space. The Genesis X Gran Berlina expresses the brand’s distinct identity tailored for racing game aesthetics while combining subtlety and intensity.

Other winners in the Product category include hydrogen-based DICE, a smart taxi indicator, a global EV home charger, an E-Pit rapid charger, and a vehicle multi-hanger set. In the Professional Concepts category, futuristic designs like the Genesis NEOLUN concept and the hydrogen-based autonomous mobility concept ‘SPACE’ were awarded.

Hyundai Motor Group’s advanced robotics design also received accolades, with the wearable robot ‘X-ble Shoulder’ winning in the Industry category and the ‘Automatic Charging Robot (ACR) service’ recognized in Service Design.

A Hyundai Motor Group representative stated, “This recognition embodies the design philosophies and future inspirations of Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis. We strive to deliver innovative designs and new experiences, adding value for our customers through everything from automobiles to brand communication.”
