Heavy rain clouds are slowly approaching from the West Sea.
Right now, heavy rain is pouring in Baengnyeongdo.
The rain is expected to spread to most regions nationwide, including Seoul, from morning to noon.
In particular, strong rain will focus on central regions from afternoon to night, with sudden downpours in the northern part of Gyeonggi, reaching up to 50mm at times.
Later, due to the influence of the stationary front, very heavy rain ranging from 30 to 50mm per hour is expected to concentrate from early morning to morning tomorrow along the western coast of South Chungcheong and Honam regions.
By tomorrow, up to 100mm or more of heavy rain is expected in northern Gyeonggi, the western coast of South Chungcheong, and Honam, with up to about 80mm in the metropolitan area, Yeongseo, and inland South Chungcheong.
Gradually, heavy rain warnings will also be issued starting from northern Gyeonggi and northern Gangwon regions.
Strong winds should also be watched out for in the mountainous areas of Gangwon and west coast regions.
Currently, temperatures nationwide are around 20 degrees, starting off cool.
Daytime temperatures will rise to 25 degrees in Seoul and 30 degrees in Gwangju.
The rain in southern regions is expected to continue long into the weekend.
