Min Hee-jin investment rumor: D Company, NewJeans Hye-in’s uncle withdraws candidacy for internal director after registration

[TV Daily’s Kim Ji-hyun] Kosdaq-listed company D suddenly withdrew its decision to appoint Hye-in of NewJeans’ uncle as an internal director. It was rumored that D company was planning to recruit former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin, but Min stated that she had not met any investors including those from D company.

According to the Women’s Economy Daily on the 13th, five individuals, including Mr. Lee, who is closely related to Hye-in’s uncle, were supposed to be registered as candidates for internal directors at D company. The company had planned to propose this at an extraordinary general meeting this month, but the proposal was unexpectedly withdrawn.

The media reported, “Previously announced internal director candidates by D company included Mr. Lee, the president of company H and a graduate of Hanyang University.” It further stated, “It was rumored in the entertainment industry that Mr. Lee is the uncle of NewJeans member Hye-in (real name Lee Hye-in). Additionally, Mr. Park, who was listed as a candidate, is known for planning NewJeans’ events in Japan.”
