Comedian Kim Sook has offered a belated apology to actress Han Ga-in. On the 14th, a video titled “‘Wow… That’s Crossing the Line!’ With so many things to be angry about these days, we get angry on your behalf 🤬 [Secret Assurance Episode 491]” was posted on the YouTube channel ‘Vivo TV’.
In the video, Song Eun-i and Kim Sook hosted a ‘Rapid-Fire Question & Answer’ segment to solve viewers’ concerns. During the segment, Kim Sook remarked, “I remember this. Back in 2005, I was filming a drama called ‘New Employee’ with Han Ga-in.”
She continued, “I was going through a really tough time back then, barely getting by, so I couldn’t contribute much to the wedding gift. It might have been 50,000 or 100,000 won.” Kim Sook explained, “It was a time when I was no longer part of ‘Gag Concert’ and ‘Ugly Duckling Crew’ and was really struggling. Han Ga-in’s wedding was at the Shilla Hotel, and I felt so sorry for only giving 50,000 won that I didn’t even eat the meal there.”
Listening to this, Song Eun-i encouraged her to send a video message to Han Ga-in. Kim Sook said, “It’s already been 20 years. I really wanted to give more at your wedding. But back then, I was also smoking, so I saved cigarette money to come up with just 50,000 won. So, I left without eating.
