[SC Issue] Actor Lee Jang-woo is set to marry Jo Hye-won after six years of dating.
Lee Jang-woo revealed his marriage plans during the December 11 broadcast of MBC’s ‘Lee Jang-woo’s Village.’ While preparing dishes like spring onion kimchi and braised pork for Hong Seok-cheon and Lee Won-il, Hong Seok-cheon asked him, “You’re such a good cook; aren’t you getting married?” to which Lee Jang-woo replied, “I’m planning to next year.”
Lee Jang-woo is publicly dating Jo Hye-won, who is eight years younger than him. The two met while starring in KBS2’s ‘My Only One’ in 2018. Last year, during the MBC Entertainment Awards, Lee Jang-woo said, “My girlfriend is working hard right now, so I think we should postpone the wedding a bit. Can I be on ‘I Live Alone’ just a little bit longer? I love her so much, and I’m grateful to my future mother-in-law.” Recently, on the web show ‘Life84,’ he shared, “We’ve been together for six years. Dating has brought me a lot of positive energy. I really want to get married and have a lot of children,” but added, “Because of (Kim) Dae-ho hyung, I can’t get married. He says he’ll say something if I leave without loyalty.”
With Lee Jang-woo announcing his marriage plans for next year, there is much interest in when he will leave ‘I Live Alone.’
