Actor Yang Ik-june is under police investigation for allegedly assaulting a junior colleague and is expected to be sent to prosecution.

Film director and actor Yang Ik-june has been sued by the police. On the morning of the 10th, the Seoul Seongbuk Police Station announced that Yang Ik-june has been accused of assault by a junior colleague and is currently under investigation following his booking. According to the police, Yang Ik-june is accused of hitting the head of a junior film staff member, known as A, multiple times with a paper roll and verbally abusing them on December 13th last year at a pub he operates in Seongbuk-gu. A police official stated, “The complaint was filed on December 30th last year. The investigation is in its final stages and is expected to be forwarded to the prosecution today or tomorrow.” Yang Ik-june gained popularity among global audiences by appearing in the Netflix original series “Hellbound.” He is also set to appear in the film “Confession,” which premieres on the 19th.
