Foreign investors are leading the decline by net selling, while individual and institutional investors are net buying.
In the KOSPI market, the index started at 2,451.60, up 0.40%, but turned downward during the trading session. Although institutions are net buying, foreign and individual investors are net selling.
The won-dollar exchange rate rose to 1,419.5 overnight but then reversed to 1,416.1 as of 10 AM.
