Recently, the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency has seen a significant increase in the number of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 and emphasized the importance of following respiratory infection prevention guidelines.
In the past 4 weeks, the number of new COVID-19 patients requiring hospitalization has increased from 63 to 225, a 3.5-fold increase.
Moreover, the detection rate of the COVID-19 virus in respiratory symptom screenings has risen to 17% this month, an increase of over 10 percentage points compared to last month.
