On December 29th last year, as flocks of migratory birds took flight behind the crashed aircraft at Muan International Airport, a tragedy involving Jeju Air occurred in Muan, South Jeolla Province. The police have launched a compulsory investigation into the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster at Muan International Airport.

The Jeju Air crash investigation headquarters announced that from 9 a.m. on January 2, they conducted searches and seizures at three locations: the office of the department responsible for Muan Airport, the Muan branch office of the Busan Regional Office of Aviation, and Jeju Air’s office in Seoul.

The police stated, “We plan to swiftly and strictly identify the cause and accountability of this incident in accordance with the law and principles.”
