Seoul City has announced that, to promote the public delivery service ‘Seoul Delivery+ Tinggyeoyo,’ it has teamed up with 18 chicken franchises to offer an event discounting chicken prices by up to 30%.
On the 25th, Seoul City revealed that it would introduce the ‘Seoul Delivery+ Pricing System’ through its public delivery app.
The Seoul Delivery+ Pricing System is a method where Seoul City, Shinhan Bank, and franchise headquarters share the discount costs to reduce consumer prices.
Consumers can receive up to a 30% discount when they use the Seoul Delivery+ Tinggyeoyo service, by applying a delivery voucher (15%), Tinggyeoyo discount coupon (5%), and franchise headquarters promotion (10%).
The first application target is the chicken sector, which holds about 39% of the delivery app market share.
For this, on the morning of the same day, Seoul City held a cooperation agreement with Shinhan Bank, the operator of Tinggyeoyo, the Korea Franchise Industry Association, the Korea Food Service Industry Association, the National Association of Franchisees, and 18 major chicken franchises at City Hall.
Most notable chicken franchises, such as BHC, BBQ, Goobne Chicken, Nene Chicken, and Norang Tongdak, are participating.
