, ‘On the 22nd, the National Association of Medical Professors (NAMP), consisting of professors from 40 medical schools nationwide, held an emergency general meeting at 7 p.m. and announced on the 23rd that they have resolved to fully boycott the government’s activities related to medical and medical education policy committee.’,
,
, ‘In a press release on this day, NAMP criticized, “As clearly stated in the Seoul High Court’s decision, the increase of medical school enrollment by 2,000 students is merely a simple arithmetic calculation without any scientific basis,” and pointed out, “Although the government claimed there were numerous discussions, upon reviewing the submitted documents, it was confirmed that there was no actual discussion.”.
,
, ‘Based on this, NAMP identified the current medical shortage crisis as the result of the government’s unilateral policy implementation. They stated, “National medical school professors firmly refuse to play the role of rubber stamps in the government’s unilateral policy implementation that disregards professionalism,” and resolved to launch a movement to boycott medical and medical education policies.’,
,
, ‘NAMP added, “We plan to expand the boycott movement in cooperation with the Korean Medical Association and the Emergency Response Committee of National Medical School Professors to the specialized committees and advisory committees of the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Ministry of Education.”‘, ‘article_split’,
