A large sum of cash intended for hospital expenses was mistakenly thrown away with the trash but was recovered with the help of sanitation workers. Last month on the 24th, a person in their 60s, referred to as Mr. A, accidentally disposed of 26 million won meant for his son’s hospital bills by mistaking it for trash and requested help from the Sejong City Hall Resource Circulation Department. With the help of eight sanitation workers from Sejong City, the money was recovered after sifting through 24 tons of garbage for eight hours, ultimately finding around 18 million won. This story came to light when Mr. A posted a thank-you message to the sanitation workers on the Sejong City Hall website.
