President Trump announced that a 25% reciprocal tariff will be imposed on Korean products imported into the United States.
He plans to impose a 10% basic tariff on all countries and additional tariffs on countries with unfair trade practices, which has led to South Korea being included among the “worst countries,” prompting urgent counteractions.

President Trump officially announced the imposition of reciprocal tariffs on all countries.
The reciprocal tariff comprises a 10% basic tariff on all trading nations, with additional individual tariffs on so-called “worst countries” that cause large trade deficits.
The reciprocal tariff imposed on our country by President Trump is 25%.
South Korea has been included in the “worst countries” list.
Tariffs have been set at 34% for China, 24% for Japan, and 20% for the European Union (EU).
Cambodia faces a 49% tariff, Vietnam 46%, and Indonesia and Switzerland in the 30% range.
The 10% basic tariff comes into effect starting on the 5th local time, with country-specific tariffs being additionally enforced from the 9th.
President Trump also declared that a 25% tariff on cars and parts will be imposed starting on the 3rd local time.

With President Trump’s global tariff, an international trade war is expected to begin in earnest.
