“The Pope’s condition has improved… He’s able to talk and is feeling better”

Pope Francis’s health condition is stable and has slightly improved, as announced by the Vatican.

On the evening of the 11th, local time, the Vatican said in a press release, “The situation is stable, and there have been slight improvements, but the medical team’s view is that it remains complicated.”

Earlier in the morning press release, the Vatican stated, “The Pope had a peaceful night and woke up around 8 a.m.”

According to Vatican sources interviewed by ANSA news agency, the Pope’s health has improved, and he is in a better mood and able to converse with those around him.

The Vatican announced the previous day that the Pope’s condition is no longer critical to the point of threatening his life.

The Pope was admitted to Rome’s Gemelli Hospital for bronchitis on the 14th of last month.
