On the night of the 22nd local time, campaigning for the upcoming presidential election in Mexico is in full swing for opposition candidates.

As the area behind the stage began to shake, campaign workers turned around. Soon, the large screen collapsed along with the structure.
The campaign stage collapsed suddenly due to a strong gust of wind.
Video clips posted on social media show the chaotic scene at the campaign venue immediately after the accident, with screams and calls for help heard from different places.
It is estimated that 9 people, including a child, died in the accident, and over 60 people were injured.
The candidate Minus, who was on the stage, quickly evacuated and avoided serious injury.

Following the accident, Minus and other presidential candidates expressed condolences to the victims and temporarily suspended campaign activities.
Local authorities advised residents to be cautious of strong winds and recommended staying indoors for the time being.

In the southern United States, a powerful tornado with maximum winds of 265 km/h killed 5 people and caused significant damage to a town.
Parts of Texas affected by the tornado have been experiencing power outages for a week, with 90,000 people evacuated and emergency response efforts underway.
