Rutticek, U.S. Secretary of Commerce: “Trade Agreements Concluded with Thailand and Cambodia”

U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick announced that trade negotiations with Cambodia and Thailand have been concluded. In an interview with Fox News on the 30th local time, Secretary Lutnick described the event as “unbelievable,” explaining that President Trump utilized trade and invited him to join the call. He further stated, “While President Trump was on the call with Thailand and Cambodia all day last Saturday, I listened in on the negotiation calls.” He added, “On Monday the 28th, they announced a truce, and we finalized trade agreements with Thailand and Cambodia.” This suggests that President Trump personally negotiated a ceasefire agreement after recent armed clashes with Thailand and Cambodia and concluded trade negotiations. However, Secretary Lutnick did not disclose specific details of the trade agreements.
