“Russian President Vladimir Putin will begin his fifth term through an inauguration ceremony on the 7th local time.
President Putin is scheduled to take the oath of office at noon on the same day in the Andreyevsky Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace in Moscow.
His fifth term in office will last until 2030. President Putin will be eligible to run for the 2030 presidential election, and if successful in his sixth term, he could extend his rule until 2036, effectively leading to lifelong leadership.
