Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, expressed curiosity about the political situation in Korea through a post on X (formerly Twitter). On the 6th local time, Musk shared a Korea-related post from the news and media account ‘Visegrad24’ on X, commenting, “Wild times in Korea! What is actually the crux of the issue?”
The post by Visegrad24 mentioned that Korea’s Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials has decided to hand over the execution of an arrest warrant for President Yoon Suk-yeol to the police, and noted that support for President Yoon is increasing.
Visegrad24 also introduced a video attached to the post, which was said to show a rally of President Yoon’s supporters.
On December 3rd last year, Musk commented in quotation marks on an X post reporting the situation in Korea following President Yoon’s declaration of martial law. He reacted with “Wow” to a post about the Korean National Assembly passing a resolution demanding the lifting of martial law.
