“Big Tech Leaders” Musk, Bezos, Zuckerberg Attend Trump’s Inauguration

The headline discusses how key cabinet members, along with elected officials, will be joining the stage. It mentions that Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, Jeff Bezos, founder and chairman of Amazon, and Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, are set to attend Donald Trump’s inauguration as President of the United States.

Foreign media, including NBC News, reported on January 15 that Charlie Kirk, one of the founders of the American conservative youth group Turning Point USA, shared a message on social media platform X regarding the event. Kirk was reportedly involved in planning the inauguration ceremony.

According to the post, the three big-tech leaders will be seated on stage with the newly appointed cabinet members and elected officials at Trump’s inauguration. In response, Elon Musk simply commented that he was “Honored” to attend.

Musk, Bezos, and Zuckerberg, who are known as the wealthiest people, are taking part in the inauguration. According to Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index, Elon Musk has a net worth of $432 billion, Jeff Bezos with $238 billion, and Mark Zuckerberg with $215 billion.

Over the past year, these tech leaders have been working to build a closer relationship with President-elect Trump. Musk donated over $250 million to Trump’s campaign and frequently appeared at support events with him, leading to his appointment as co-head of the newly established Government Efficiency Office. Amazon and Meta also donated $1 million each to Trump’s inauguration fund and have actively adapted their service policies to align with his preferences.

Meta is reportedly rolling back diversity-related policies across its platforms like Facebook and Instagram, while Amazon has signed a contract to produce a documentary on First Lady Melania Trump for its streaming service, Prime Video.

Industry analysts suggest that these actions may be aimed at strengthening support for IT businesses and reducing corporate regulations. Elon Musk’s Tesla and SpaceX are focusing on electric vehicles, autonomous driving, AI, and space exploration, while Amazon is working on AI and autonomous vehicles, and Meta is developing AI-related services.
