Kakao Map, Seoul High-Precision Bus Pilot Launch
Providing high-precision bus location for approximately 420 routes for a week

The Seoul high-precision bus service will be operated as a pilot, applying to major city bus routes except for airport and village buses.,

, ‘Kakao Map and Seoul’s Transportation Future Advanced Transport Division have been building a high-precision bus data production and verification system for about two years and are discussing the formal introduction of it in the second half of this year.’,

Even if there are changes in bus intervals, traffic congestion, controls, or detours, the current location of the bus can be accurately identified. Users will be able to check road control sections near the concert venue, congested areas, temporary restrooms, and onsite medical clinics through Kakao Map. If subway stations operate non-stop, relevant information will be available on the detailed page of the respective station. Detour operation and non-stop information can also be checked on bus stop pages and public transportation navigation services.’,
