[Yonhap News Agency, Reporter Kim Hyun-ah] Yang Yoon-ji, currently the General Manager of Platform Biz at Shinsegae I&C, has been appointed as the new CEO of the company.
The new CEO, Yang Yoon-ji, joined Shinsegae Group through open recruitment in 1996 and has served as the team leader of the Platform Operations Team, Executive Director of Strategic IT Business, and General Manager of Platform Biz at Shinsegae I&C.
As an IT expert with experience in various IT service fields such as POS, cloud, and AI, the company expects Yang to lead the strengthening of Shinsegae I&C’s technological competitiveness and secure new growth drivers.
Yang Yoon-ji, the new CEO of Shinsegae I&C, was born in March 1971, holds a Master’s degree in IT Management from Kyung Hee University, joined Shinsegae Co., Ltd. in 1996, became the team leader of the Shinsegae I&C POS Team in March 2011, the team leader of the Platform Operations Team in May 2015, was appointed as Deputy Executive Director of ITO2 in December 2018, Executive Director of Strategic IT Business in November 2020, General Manager of Platform Biz in September 2023, and CEO of Shinsegae I&C in March 2025.
