Wemix files for an injunction to suspend delisting against four DAXA exchanges.

The management of the cryptocurrency WEMIX, which has faced its second delisting from a domestic exchange, has filed a lawsuit against exchanges that are part of the Digital Asset Exchange Joint Consultation Body. The Seoul Central District Court has received an injunction filed by ‘Wemade’ against four cryptocurrency exchanges—Bithumb, Coinone, Korbit, and Gopax—regarding the suspension of WEMIX trading support.

WEMIX is a blockchain game-related cryptocurrency issued by the domestic gaming company Wemade. Recently, on December 2, the consultative body of the five major South Korean won-based cryptocurrency exchanges decided to delist WEMIX due to a breach where 9 billion KRW worth of WEMIX coins were stolen in a hack, with the announcement delayed.

WEMIX was previously delisted from domestic exchanges in 2022 due to issues with transparency in circulation volume but resumed trading in February of the following year, starting with Coinone.
