The iPhone 16 randomly turns off and on… Apple is investigating the ‘panic full’ issue.

On the morning of the 20th last month, citizens were seen examining Apple’s newly released smartphone, the ‘iPhone 16 series,’ at the Apple Store in Myeongdong, Jung-gu, Seoul.

Apple is aware of the ‘Panic Full’ issue emerging with the iPhone 16 series and is conducting an investigation. ‘Panic Full’ refers to an abnormal phenomenon where the device shuts off or stops functioning without user intervention.

According to the IT industry on the 17th, Apple is conducting its own investigation into the Panic Full issue affecting the iPhone 16 series. Recently, multiple posts on domestic and international media and internet communities have reported Panic Full occurrences on iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models. Since Panic Full involves the device shutting down and rebooting on its own, the frequency of occurrences is unpredictable.

Some users have reported receiving replacements from Apple-authorized service providers due to this issue. Additionally, there are claims that updating to the latest iPhone operating system resolves the Panic Full issue, with some users noting the issue disappeared after updating to the latest iOS 18 beta version. However, in cases where the problem is software-related, regular users may have to wait for the official update rather than use a beta version.

The Panic Full phenomenon was also an issue during the early release of the iPhone 14 series in 2022. At that time, Apple stated that if no accidental damage by the user was found within the warranty period and the device itself had a problem, support would be available.
