, ‘As the first agenda item, the ‘2nd National R&D Mid- to Long-term Investment Strategy’, which outlines the direction of national R&D investment for the next five years, was discussed. To produce visible results within five years, the government aims to strengthen mission-oriented R&D and create a continuous investment structure. The government plans to finalize the ‘2nd National R&D Mid- to Long-term Investment Strategy’ by mid-year, based on the results of this discussion.’,

, ‘Additionally, the government has prepared the “Government AX Business Lifecycle One-stop Support Plan” with a total budget of 10 trillion won for this year to support the growth of the AI ecosystem. The plan focuses on organically linking inter-departmental AX businesses with government-owned resources and policy capabilities, as well as private sector expertise, to provide customized support and consulting for resources needed at all stages (planning–execution–distribution and expansion).’,

, ‘The agenda that received particular attention at this meeting was the “Plans to Expand Utilization of Public Works for AI Learning.” As the demand to use public works for AI learning increases, the government plans to amend the “Public Nuri” criteria for free use of public works to resolve legal uncertainties for citizens and businesses utilizing public works for AI learning. To this end, a “Public Nuri Type 0” which allows free use without conditions for all purposes will be established, and an “AI Type” will also be newly introduced, which allows free use for AI learning purposes while maintaining the existing usage conditions.’,

, ‘Previously, in September last year, the government had already allowed about 11 million of the total 33.4 million Public Nuri items to be used for AI learning by the national AI elite team through the regulatory sandbox test exemption. Once this system reform is implemented, public works classified as Type 0 or AI Type will be freely usable by anyone in the country for AI learning.’,

, ‘Along with this, the government also announced the “2nd Comprehensive Information Protection Policy”, which complements the “Government-wide Information Protection Comprehensive Plan” established last October. It includes measures to strengthen a practical compensation system for consumer damages, incentives for companies to voluntarily adopt and expand vulnerability disclosure and improvement systems using white hackers, as well as security enhancement measures for general products including digital elements.’,
