SK C&C Joins in Training AI and DX Talent for the Nation

“[Financial News] SK C&C has taken on the role of nurturing AI and digital transformation (DX) talents in the ‘K-Digital Training Academy’ program organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.”

“SK C&C announced on the 12th that they are recruiting the first batch of trainees for ‘SKALA (SK C&C AI Leader Academy)’ until the 26th. Approximately 90 individuals will be selected for the job-linked training, providing exceptional trainees with opportunities to join SK C&C and its subsidiaries.”

An SK C&C representative explained, “Through this, we aim to secure talents who will lead digital innovation early on and further strengthen our AI and DX competitiveness.”

Eligible applicants must be graduates or prospective graduates from domestic or international universities who can join a company after completing their education, and they must be able to obtain the ‘National Tomorrow Learning Card.’ The selected trainees will receive training at SK C&C’s headquarters in Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, from February 3 to July 8 next year for about five months. Additionally, they will receive full tuition support, training incentives, lunch support, and a scholarship of 1 million KRW upon completion.

Furthermore, laptops for educational purposes will be provided during the training period, and teams with outstanding performance in team projects will be awarded scholarships worth a total of 7.5 million KRW.

SK C&C has been selected as an educational institution in the AI field for the K-Digital Training program and will present SKALA, a practical AI-specialized training course.

The SKALA program is composed of a digital work-focused curriculum, including △Programming △Generative AI △Data Analysis △Machine Learning △Cloud △AI Service Development Projects.

SK C&C members actively participated in designing and developing the curriculum, and the education is conducted by a faculty composed of SK C&C AI experts with diverse project experience and AI expertise. The program plans to cultivate talents with differentiated digital competitiveness by incorporating hands-on education that can be immediately applied on project sites alongside SK C&C’s AI technology.

Kim Min-hwan, Talent Manager at SK C&C, stated, “The SKALA program is an important first step aimed at nurturing national AI and DX talents in cooperation with the government,” and added, “We will continue to strive to cultivate talents who will lead future advanced industries and contribute to national digital innovation.”
