Samsung Electronics to Launch Galaxy S25 in Over 120 Countries Starting from the 7th

Samsung Electronics plans to gradually launch the ‘Galaxy S25 series’ in over 120 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, India, and Thailand, starting from the 7th. Samsung’s MX Business Head, TM Roh, mentioned that the Galaxy S25 series will revolutionize daily life, offering the most natural and personalized mobile experience ever through an enhanced Galaxy AI.

In line with the launch of the Galaxy S25 series, the number of languages available for Google Gemini will be expanded to a total of 46. The Galaxy S25 series features a button to activate the AI agent Gemini, allowing users to input commands as if they were chatting with friends. The device is equipped with the ‘Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy’ application processor, offering approximately 40% improved image quality.

Additionally, Samsung has introduced ‘content credentialing’ technology on smartphones for the first time, leaving an edit history on AI-generated image data to record the content’s source and editing status. Throughout February, purchasers of the Galaxy S25 series in Korea will receive benefits such as a 150,000 KRW discount coupon for the Galaxy Watch 7 via the Samsung.com app, and a three-month free trial of YouTube Premium.

Moreover, a six-month free subscription to ‘Google One AI Premium’ is provided, allowing users to experience ‘Gemini Advanced 2TB Google Drive Storage’. Through Samsung’s ‘New Galaxy AI Subscription Club’, buyers of the Galaxy S25 unlocked model can receive benefits like up to 50% residual value compensation upon device return, Samsung Care+ smartphone damage protection, and discounts on mobile accessories. Membership in the New Galaxy AI Subscription Club can be chosen for either 12 or 24 months, with a monthly subscription fee of 5,900 KRW.
