RaonSecure Resumes Trading After Stock Face Value Consolidation… Strengthening Growth Foundation in Mobile IDs, Post-Quantum Cryptography, and AI Security

RaonSecure, an IT security and authentication platform company (led by CEOs Lee Soon-hyung and Lee Jeong-ah), announced that it has completed a 5-to-1 stock reverse split and will resume stock trading based on the new shares from the 7th. As a result of this split, the par value of the stock has been adjusted from 500 KRW to 2,500 KRW, and the total number of issued shares reduced from 56.02 million to 11.2 million.

RaonSecure emphasized that this reverse split serves as a turning point not only to adjust the appropriate number of circulating shares, but also to enhance corporate capabilities focused on core businesses such as mobile ID and digital identity/qualification authentication, zero trust security, and premium penetration testing. Additionally, they aim to secure mid- to long-term growth drivers in quantum-resistant cryptography and AI security (deepfake detection) to restructure corporate value and strengthen market leadership.

The company has applied blockchain-based digital identity and qualification authentication integrated platform technology to the ‘mobile resident registration card’ issuance system for 45 million citizens and is expanding its role in digital identity verification and qualification certification in the private and public sectors, such as ISIC international student ID and Chung-Ang University degree certificates. Following successful digital ID projects in Indonesia and Costa Rica, they are also actively entering the global digital ID markets in Europe, Central Asia, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.

In response to the era of Zero Trust 2.0 and National Secure Framework (N2SF), RaonSecure is advancing its major solutions, such as the multi-factor authentication platform ‘OnePass’, smart work security management platform ‘OneGuard’, and integrated account authority management platform ‘TouchEn WiseAccess’, while strengthening the transition to cloud-based SaaS. This aims to provide a next-generation authentication and access control system optimized for cloud and national security network environments, enhancing market competitiveness.

With the recent surge in threats from hacking, malware dissemination, and other cyber-attacks, RaonSecure’s Whitehat services are increasingly gaining attention as the company is designated as a national information protection specialized service provider.

Through its Whitehat Center, the company offers premium penetration testing and security consulting services for public, financial, and corporate clients, and has launched the subscription-based penetration testing service ‘Raon PTaaS’ to proactively meet domestic and international market demands. They contribute to the protection of information assets of nations and companies by pre-identifying vulnerabilities exposed to potential cyber-attacks.

Additionally, RaonSecure has been selected for the ‘2025 Quantum-Resistant Cryptography Pilot Transition Support Project’ by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) in the medical field, embarking on the development of the nation’s first PQC-based open medical data platform. The company plans to enhance medical data security by applying PQC to data transmission between hospitals, mobile healthcare apps, and digital therapeutic (DTx) platforms, and to expand technology applications to fields such as telemedicine and IoT healthcare.

The company is also advancing its deepfake detection technology using generative AI. By integrating deepfake detection capabilities into the personal vaccine app ‘Raon Mobile Security’, smartphone users can easily verify deepfake content using video files or URLs. They are currently developing deep voice detection and real-time deepfake detection technologies to contribute to protecting personal and corporate information assets from phishing threats during real-time video calls, video conferences, and consultation calls.

RaonSecure received the Presidential Citation for information communication contribution at the ‘2025 Science and ICT Day’ ceremony, recognized for its contributions to the security and authentication industry, including the establishment of the national mobile ID system and innovation in identity authentication through FIDO biometric authentication.

A representative from RaonSecure stated, “This stock merge was part of a shareholder-friendly policy intended to stabilize stock supply and demand and minimize price volatility for a fair market valuation of corporate value.” They added, “We aim to solidify a sustainable growth foundation by proving our technological capability and competitiveness beyond the domestic to the global security and authentication markets.”
