“No more worries about chat log leaks”… Ruiten offers ‘DeepSeek R1 Safety Service’

DeepSeek R1 Model Deployed on a Separate Cloud…”Free and Unlimited”, Luiten DeepSeek Safety Service (Provided by Luiten Technology)

(Seoul=News1) Reporter Kim Min-seok = Luiten Technologies announced on the 4th that it will be the first in the country to launch the safety service of the DeepSeek AI model ‘R1’ on the KakaoTalk Luiten channel.

Luiten provides the DeepSeek R1 model on a separate cloud.

A Luiten representative explained, “The DeepSeek safety service provided by Luiten operates on a cloud physically separated from the model manufacturer, ensuring that user input data is not leaked to specific countries and is not used for model training by the manufacturer.”

The Luiten DeepSeek safety service is available for free on the KakaoTalk Luiten channel. Users can search for the ‘Luiten’ channel on KakaoTalk, become friends, and use the R1 model in the chat window.

Luiten plans to decide whether to expand to Luiten web and app services in the future.

Luiten CEO Lee Se-young said, “Amidst the new AI model competition unfolding after DeepSeek, our company will continue to strive to make AI models accessible quickly and safely for everyone.”

China’s DeepSeek R1 model is receiving great attention, achieving number one in app downloads worldwide, including in the US and Korea, by showcasing performance on par with OpenAI’s existing models.

However, due to controversies over potential vulnerabilities in personal data security and allegations of unauthorized data collection and use, some countries are moving to restrict downloads.
