“NateOn Announces ‘Ad Suspension,’ Also Removes Traces of Deleted Messages”

Nate Communications announced on the 20th that it will implement an update to its messenger service, NateOn, reflecting a significant amount of user feedback and reorganizing its service direction. This update, part of a “Voice of Customer (VOC) based improvement project,” comes amid a trend of increasing users returning to NateOn. The updates aim to enhance user convenience and control, such as the ability to remove messages without leaving a “message deleted” trace and introducing a “kick” feature for group chats and an “invisible status” option on mobile and Mac versions.

The company has decided to stop all advertisements in the mobile version, focusing solely on the essence of messenger services. For the PC version, the “Turbo Cleaner” feature will be removed, and ad settings will be improved for a lighter and faster user experience. Additionally, two-factor authentication will be introduced for enhanced account security, in collaboration with leading domestic security firms.

The update will also include features to improve user trust and convenience, like an “select all” option in the mobile file browser and a “privacy setting” for the news section in the PC version. To enhance engagement and communication, more diverse emojis reflecting the latest trends will be added, expanding the existing “My Emoji” feature.

A spokesperson from Nate Communications expressed a sense of responsibility and gratitude towards returning users and emphasized their commitment to ongoing communication and creating a trustworthy platform.
