Lotte Innovate announced on the 7th that it has successfully implemented its proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) platform, ‘iMember’, at Lotte Capital, and will start the service in the middle of this month.
Previously, Lotte Innovate’s ‘iMember’ was offered as a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). However, the newly implemented version is installed directly within the internal network, meeting financial industry security standards such as network separation. It supports the stable use of generative AI services even in environments disconnected from the external internet.
Before the platform’s implementation, Lotte Innovate adhered to the Financial Services Commission’s AI utilization guidelines in the financial sector. It also enhanced security aspects by using a security checklist for AI chatbot services. According to the company, the ‘iMember’ implemented at Lotte Capital includes AI models equipped with various work support functions and uses Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technology to minimize hallucinations.
A representative from Lotte Innovate stated, “Based on this AI platform implementation in the financial sector, we plan to actively expand the supply of on-premise AI services to industries such as telecommunications and public sectors, which require high security levels. Along with the already available cloud-based SaaS, we will flexibly respond to various customer demands.”
