LG Uplus announced on the 23rd that the cumulative number of USIM (Universal Subscriber Identity Module) updates and free replacements for all customers has surpassed 1 million cases.

On April 22nd, LG Uplus employees conducted USIM updates and replacements at the Nowon Center for the Visually Impaired in Nowon-gu, Seoul. This event was provided by LG Uplus.

To minimize inconvenience for customers, LG Uplus carried out online guidance through text messages and the U+one app, operated a reservation-based system, and offered on-site support. They also provide a “visiting service” for customers who find it difficult to visit stores. On April 21st and 22nd, they visited the Boeun County Welfare Center for the Elderly and Disabled in Chungbuk and the Nowon Center for the Visually Impaired in Seoul to assist customers with limited mobility or digital access. Support for customers in island regions, such as Ulleungdo in Ulleung County, Gyeongbuk, and Yeongheungdo in Ongjin County, Incheon, on April 13th and 14th, continues to be offered.

Jae-won Lee, head of LG Uplus Consumer Division, stated, “We will responsibly support customers to ensure they receive assistance without inconvenience by combining online guidance, in-store service, and our visiting service.”
