The official release is on the 12th.\n\nThe Pom Pom Purin Kids Phone is based on Samsung Electronics’ ‘Galaxy A17 LTE’ and features a ‘Pom Pom Purin’ theme, which is popular among children. It comes with highly useful accessories.\n\nCustomers who pre-order on KT.com will receive a label printer.\n\nChildren aged 12 and under using the kids phone can choose from two KT junior-specialized plans, which allow free use of voice calls and text messages. If a parent subscribes to a plan costing 100,000 won or more per month and the child joins a junior plan, they can receive an additional monthly discount of 8,800 won through the ‘Our Child Discount’.\n\nIn addition, customers who subscribe to the junior plan can use the additional service ‘KT Safety Box’ (3,300 won per month) for free.\n\nKT Safety Box allows real-time location tracking of children, blocking harmful websites, and managing app usage. It supports the ‘study mode’ feature, which limits smartphone functions, helping parents manage their child’s smartphone use more safely.\n\nTo celebrate the product launch, KT has also prepared a customer event.\n\nThrough a draw, a family package trip to Tokyo (for three people) will be given to seven families, along with various prizes including a Pom Pom Purin keychain for 100 winners and a 2,000 won Naver Pay voucher for 500 winners.
