Hancom collaborates with Upstage on AI technology… Integrating Hancom Assistant and Solar

Hancom and Upstage have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to strengthen cooperation in AI technology, as announced on the 10th. According to the agreement, the two companies will work on developing an innovative AI solution by combining Hancom’s AI document creation tool, “Hancom Assistant,” with Upstage’s large language model (LLM), “Solar.” They plan to integrate “Solar Mini” and “Solar Pro” into Hancom Assistant. This integration is expected to enhance Hancom Assistant’s ability to understand natural language and grasp context. Kim Yeon-su, CEO of Hancom, stated, “The fusion of our document and AI technologies will lead to the creation of a world-class AI solution. We aim to accelerate the development of the domestic AI industry and our expansion into the global market by leveraging the strengths and technological fusion of both companies.”
