Google Cloud has announced that it acquired the ‘low’ grade certification under the Cloud Security Assurance Program (CSAP), designed for group services, on February 3rd.

Managed by the Korea Internet and Security Agency (KISA), CSAP aims to enhance and assure the level of information protection in cloud services. KISA’s evaluation focused on critical cloud services provided by Google Cloud’s Seoul region, such as computing, storage, networking, database, and security.

The acquisition of this security certification allows Google Cloud to expand its services to various national and public institutions. Google Cloud plans to actively support public sector clients in maximizing the use of its services while complying with related regulations.

Jik-Seong, president of Google Cloud Korea, stated that the company has extensive experience in providing AI and cloud services with robust security and innovation to various national and government agencies. He emphasized Google Cloud’s commitment to providing broad support to government institutions in ensuring high-level AI innovation and service implementation safely.
